The Second Stage Paperwork is due upon your establishing the personal contact with the child you have been referred. This paperwork shall include:

1.      Written denial to adopt the child referred

         or

         Application to the Minister of Justice, containing:

a.   consent to adopt the child in accordance with Art.61 of the Family code of the Republic of Bulgaria;

b.   statement that you are informed about the health condition of the child;

c.   statement that you are informed about the consequences of full adoption;

d.   statement that you have personally met the child;

e.   consent that the court stage of the adoption shall be started.

2.      Notarized declaration stating that the child adopted by you shall not be given for another adoption;

3.      Notarized declaration stating that the child adopted by you shall not be subjected to experimental treatment and that no part of his/her body shall be used for medical purposes of donorship;

4.      Notarized declaration stating that your consent for the adoption is not bound with material benefit;

5.      In case you don’t manage to personally meet the child referred and after representative(s) of Dreams establish this personal contact, you should submit notarized declaration that you accept the risk of the heritage and future physical and mental status and development of the child, wherein you should also state the reasons for not establishing the personal contact with the child.

All documents should be originals, notarized and apostilled by the respective state.
