Once the adoption is finalized in Bulgaria and the child enters the territory of the USA, four Post Placements reports are due – one every 6 months until the lapse of two years. These reports shall be prepared by a social worker or adoption agency at the place of your residence and shall include: evaluation of the living conditions, progress, level of physical, mental and emotional development of the child, his/her affection for the adoptive parents, the parental cares and skills, the measures for stimulation of the child’s cultural identity, etc. Photos of the child in his/her family environment, home, holidays, etc. shall be enclosed to the reports.
